Terms of Service.

Last updated: 11 May 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at aaia.asia and any training programmes, workshops, courses, materials, or services provided by Asia AI Academy for Professionals ("AAIA", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing the website or registering for a workshop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Workshop registration

Eligibility

Our workshops are intended for working professionals aged 18 or above. By registering you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Confirmation

A registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and a confirmation email from AAIA. We reserve the right to decline a registration at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.

Capacity

Workshops are capped at 100 attendees to support meaningful interaction and feedback. Places are allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis.

3. Fees and payment

The standard programme fee for the 1-Day AI Mastery Workshop is HKD 3,800 unless otherwise stated. Fees are inclusive of workshop materials and refreshments and exclusive of any optional add-ons. Corporate training fees are quoted on a case-by-case basis under a separate engagement letter.

Payment is due in full upon registration. AAIA accepts payment via credit card (processed by our payment partner), bank transfer, and other methods listed on our payment page. AAIA does not store full card details.

Where required by applicable tax law, taxes will be added to the fee at the prevailing rate.

4. Refunds and cancellations

By you

You may cancel your registration in writing to AsiaAIAcademy@gmail.com. Refunds are issued according to the following schedule:

  • More than 14 days before the workshop: full refund, less a 5% administration fee
  • 7 to 14 days before the workshop: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop: no refund. You may transfer your place to a colleague at no charge, subject to written notice.

By AAIA

We may cancel or reschedule a workshop in exceptional circumstances, including insufficient enrolment, instructor unavailability, or force majeure events. In that case, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future intake. We are not liable for incidental costs such as travel or accommodation.

5. Code of conduct

To maintain a productive learning environment for everyone, participants are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, AAIA staff, and other participants with respect
  • Refrain from disruptive, harassing, or discriminatory behaviour
  • Respect the confidentiality of information shared by other participants
  • Use workshop materials and accounts only for the purposes intended

AAIA reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct, in our reasonable judgement, breaches this code. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

6. Intellectual property

All workshop materials, including slides, worksheets, templates, recordings, and prompts ("Materials"), are the intellectual property of AAIA or its licensors. By registering, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal-use licence to use the Materials for your own professional development. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publish the Materials in whole or in part
  • Use the Materials to deliver competing training or to develop competing products
  • Remove copyright or attribution notices

For corporate training engagements, additional or different licensing terms may apply under a separate written agreement.

7. Use of AI outputs

During and after the workshop, you may produce outputs using third-party AI tools (such as Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, or Perplexity). You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content before relying on it for professional or commercial purposes
  • Complying with the terms of service of the AI tools you use
  • Ensuring that your use of AI tools complies with your employer's policies and applicable confidentiality obligations
  • Avoiding the input of personal data, confidential information, or material subject to legal privilege into AI tools unless permitted by your organisation

AAIA does not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

8. Disclaimers

AAIA's training is provided for educational and professional development purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, accounting, tax, medical, or any other regulated professional advice. You should obtain advice from a qualified professional before acting on any information presented during the workshop.

The website and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AAIA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AAIA's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your participation in any workshop will not exceed the fee paid by you for that workshop. AAIA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data.

10. Force majeure

AAIA is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, government action, public-health emergencies, civil disturbance, fire, flood, or failure of communication networks.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the website or by email. Continued use of our services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
